Moving Towards A Cure 5K Fun Run/Walk To benefit Miles For Hope, a foundation to assist in brain tumor research and patient assistance. This hits close to home, as a dear friend of the family was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few months ago and is currently in treatment. She is a beautiful, strong and courageous 17-year old, that is in a fight for her life! If you live in the Orlando area, please come out and help show your support. The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon
This is an evening run at Disney on the last weekend of the Food & Wine Festival!!! The race starts around 10:00PM and is followed by a party for the runners and their friends and family! Sounds like soooo much fun! And the nieces are joining me on this one, too!

I’m in the lottery for this race.Chances are I won’t get in, but I have to put it on the list for luck! You know, the whole visualization thing! If you see it… it will come true!!! OK, wishful thinking, but it would be totally awesome if by some crazy, ridiculous chance I did get in!! Of course I’ll keep you informed of the update on this! Wish me luck!! Or not, it’s a REALLY EXPENSIVE RACE!!!

OK, So I was planning on doing the St. Augustine Marathon in November, 2012. But I found out that they aren’t doing the full marathon this year. Just a half and 10K. So I had to go searching for a marathon. Well, I can’t find one in 2012 that fits my schedule… so I decided to put the Disney Marathon back on my list. This is of course if I don’t get into the New York City Marathon in November.
